When you buy one of our carpets, you have invested in a long-lasting product, but regular cleaning is still highly recommended.

Care:

Regular vacuuming of carpets prevents dust particles from settling. Knocking out carpets is a little more time-consuming than vacuuming, but it's worth it for stubborn dirt. Due to the natural coloring of the carpets, exposure to sunlight can cause the colors to fade slightly, which gives the carpet character and life. If you don't want that, keep it out of direct sunlight.

Cleaning:

If something goes wrong and a visible stain is visible, immediately dab the stain carefully with an absorbent cloth and a little warm water until it is no longer visible on the carpet. Is it a stubborn carpet stain? Below we will give you some simple home remedies that you should try before professional cleaning. DIY tip: To make sure that the color doesn't fade using the suggested methods, test it in an inconspicuous area first.

Table salt: Spread it moistened over the entire carpet and vacuum it again after a few hours.

Dishwashing detergent: Dab the carpet stain with an absorbent cloth and warm water - if necessary with detergent added. Give the carpet some time to vacuum before attempting to rub the stain out.

Glass cleaner: Apply dosed amounts to the stain, leave to act briefly and then dab with water.

Classic gall soap: Apply the moistened gall soap to the stain, leave it to work for about 20-30 minutes and then remove it again with a damp cloth.

For more specific stains, such as red wine stains or chocolate stains, we explain the correct technique in this blog post. If a stubborn stain is still visible, please contact us or contact a professional carpet cleaner.
